The Issue
An arts and culture organization was anxious to re-engage with its core constituents after a pause in programming during a period of financial instability.
The Strategy
Chiedu worked with the organization's leadership to develop a strategy of Town Hall type meetings. After discussions with leadership, Chiedu proposed five sessions targeting three core groups: donors, volunteer staff and service constituents. Chiedu also proposed day long retreats with the organization’s Board and salaried staff to ground the organization’s representatives in messaging, mission and impact.
PRESENTATION STRATEGY
The Issue
An organization's LGBTQ+ Employee Resource Group wanted to deliver a dynamic LGBTQ+-related presentation for PRIDE month (June).
The Strategy
After discussions, CE Impact Strategies determined that our LGTBTQIA+ Presentation was the best fit for the organization. A number of factors helped with this determination: (a) the organization’s LGBTQIA+ was diverse, (b) the ally population expressed a desire to learn the basics of LGBTQIA+ identity, and (c) this was the first LGBTQIA+ presentation in years, and there were a number of new employees who needed grounding in the organization's values. CE Impact Strategies delivered the template presentation and worked on changes with the organization’s leadership to fully meet the organization’s needs. The result: a 45-minute virtual presentation with a scheduled 15 minute question and answer period that lasted 25 minutes.
